About the Test & Validation Program Manager Position

YES, you read that correctly. We are seeking someone to develop and lead a team responsible for testing new Electric Powersports Vehicles!

The Test & Validation Program Manager will be working in a cross functional team to manage the development and execution of test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to specifications, regulatory, and production requirements. You will join a highly experienced, growing team, to drive and manage the definition, development, and delivery of systems for new electric powersports vehicles. You will be a connector by forging strong relationships with cross functional teams and delivering results in an effective and timely manner. You will also help the team evolve by creating and refining tools and processes. This position reports to the Director of Program Management - Program Management Office (PMO).

The right candidate will demonstrate a very solid understanding of automotive regulatory and testing programs with an outstanding track record of delivering results.


• Establish validation standards, develop testing protocols, prepare equipment, document test results and maintain records for analysis.

• Responsible for successful delivery of electric vehicle test programs throughout the product development lifecycle.

• Develop and manage the testing program across multiple electrical vehicle platforms for the following: Regulatory, Safety, Failure Analysis, Reliability, & Quality.

• Conduct Systems and Component Testing for various phases of product development: Prototyping, Engineering Validation, Design Validation, Production Validation, and Supplier Changes.

• Utilize abilities to drive program success through both direct ownership and delegation to team members.

• Build and manage a team of test and validation engineers.

• Effectively communicate to all program stakeholders including, but not limited to, executive management.

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and collaborate with colleagues across the company to drive program success

• Collaborate to identify and document customer requirements, and provide estimates for costs and schedules

• Understand and utilize internal project management tools and processes related to development and release through various project phases


• 5+ years of Design / Engineering experience in a managerial capacity

• BS degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline

• Experience in managing a product development lifecycle (Prototyping, EVT / DVT / PVT, Production Ramp)

• Self-motivated individual possessing excellent communication and time management skills

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an ability to influence

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize projects and tasks

• Experience in complex system development in fast-growing segments

• Experience working on integrated hardware and software projects preferred

• PMP or Agile certification preferred but not required
