About the Test & Validation Engineer Position

YES, we are hiring a team to develop and execute various tests on new electric powersports vehicles.....

The Test & Validation Engineer will be working in a cross functional team to administer the execution of test plans which will verify product functionality, adherence to specifications, regulatory, and production requirements. You will join a highly experienced, growing team, to drive and manage the definition, development, and delivery of electric vehicle systems. You will be meticulous and detail-oriented by forging strong relationships with cross functional teams and delivering results in an effective and timely manner. You will also help the team evolve by creating and refining tools and processes. This position reports to the Test & Validation Program Manager - Program Management Office (PMO).

The right candidate will demonstrate a very solid understanding of electromechanical systems within the EV and/or automotive industry.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and calibrate the equipment and procedures used in development and production of a variety of products.

• Execute the testing program across multiple electrical vehicle platforms for the following: Regulatory, Safety, Failure Analysis, Reliability, & Quality.

• Conduct Systems and Component Testing for various phases of product development: Prototyping, Engineering Validation, Design Validation, Production Validation, and Supplier Changes.

• Interpret 3D CAD and 2D drawings, specifications, standards and best practices to help develop and administer engineering validation test plans

• Effectively communicate and document all test results

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of Design / Engineering experience in the automotive, electrical vehicle, and/or powersports industry

• BS degree or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related discipline

• Experience with a product development lifecycle (Prototyping, EVT / DVT / PVT, Production Ramp)

• Self-motivated individual possessing excellent communication and time management skills

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and an ability to influence

• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects / tasks simultaneously and effectively prioritize projects and tasks

• Experience in complex system design and engineering projects

• Experience working on integrated hardware and software projects preferred
